Saturn Retrograde | 13 July - 28 November 2025

Saturn, the planet of structure, time, rules, discipline, karma and the planet that binds, goes retrograde on the 13th of July. It will be retrograde until 28 November. A retrograde in astronomy is when a planet appears to be moving backward in the sky, and in astrology, when a planet goes retrograde, it's energy is distorted or turns inward.

Things to avoid during this period:

1. Starting anything new. It will not stick. Example starting a business, launching something, building a house, signing a contract, beginning a new job that would you prefer it be long term, planting crops (for my farmers)

2. ⁠Getting married or engaged. Saturn retrograde marriages usually go cold, feel burdened, don’t last, or this could also be binding yourself to karma / karmic weight - since Saturn rules karma. What begins in a Saturn retrograde will often end in regret.

3. ⁠Taking on new responsibilities. Taking on a new role with heavy duties like managerial roles, financial etc or becoming someone’s guardian. You will end up feeling overburdened or unsupported and you can be stuck with these consequences long term.

4. ⁠Investing in long term assets like property, land, time based investments or wealth through investments or endurance. They may decrease in value, end up having structural issues or become a burden to you.

5. ⁠Moving into a permanent residence or buying a permanent residence. This can result in trouble with foundations, ongoing repairs, or emotional heaviness tied to the location/property

6. ⁠Taking legal action or initiating lawsuits.

7. ⁠Taking any vows spiritually

Exceptions:

-If you’re finishing something you started a long time ago, Saturn supports completion, revising, editing, fixing

-If you’re returning to a previous job, home, that’s ok. There’s probably some karma that needs to be completed.

-If you’re paying off debts, taking a break from the world, settling karma - this is Saturn’s preferred work during his retrograde period All the love, Z
